On a Whisper

This is a picture I drew in my last year of high school, I think. I stayed after class a lot trying to finish it, so it'd be just me and my art teacher sitting in the studio with my Disney music playing. XD She'd always jump up once it started to play music from "the old days", like the Mary Poppins stuff or "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?"

There's a little insight into the developement of this piece. *laughs* The model was a real butterfly--it'd been dead for some time though. Some of the other students caught live ones, then set them free once they were done, but I have an aversion to insects. Eheh.

I like how this one came out though. I cleaned it up in Photoshop, and changed the contrast to make it look more like it had before it faded. (The original is in the scraps section).

The words are just something that popped into my head when I wanted to fill the empty space. XD That happens.

Anyway, hope you like it! (As you can tell, I'm putting up all my old drawings first, before starting new ones, kinda).
